What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a Sanskrit term which is defined as “the knowledge of life.” It is one of the oldest forms of medicine and uses a broad range of practices based on generations of tradition. After putting these practices to work, you’ll start to see changes to your body, mind and energy levels. Contact me to find out more.

Ayurvedic Consultations

An Initial Consultation consists of a two hour in depth meeting where we go over the details of your life. As your Ayurvedic Specialist Intern, I will evaluate what can be adjusted for a healthier and more harmonious outcome. In this internship, I focus more on disease and create a specialized healing plan specific to you as an individual.
 Next, in the Report Of Findings visit I hand over the health plan I have created for you. This is where your participation in healing your life is put to work. This will include lifestyle practices/changes and sometimes herbal medicines formulated specifically for you. It is important to know, that after this, it is your responsibility to implement these practices in order to see the results you’re looking for.
Lastly, Follow Up Visits consist of “following up” on how your health plan is going. At this point we will adjust and add things accordingly. We will continue to have these visits to track your progress until we both see fit for you to continue your healing on your own.

About me

My name is Bailee Banta. I have always had a passion for helping people. Out of high school I was on my way to becoming a nurse. Starting out as a Certified Nursing Assistant I worked with the elderly by taking care of their every need. In this field I realized how certain “medicine” was affecting these people. Although I know there is a time and a place for western medicine, I realized this field was not where I as an individual could express my truth. In searching, I found Ayurveda. Since 2017 I have learned and practiced this medicine at the California College of Ayurveda. When I’ve completed school I will continue into my own business called Artistic Ayurvedics.
